Recycling is another focus for us in our effort to reduce our environmental impact. Maximus' recycling efforts include:

Recycling glass jars used for instant coffee
Recycling packaging film
Recycling cardboard boxes
Utilizing water used in our natural decaffeination process for external equipment cleaning
Burning coffee bean waste to produce energy to run our boilers, thereby reducing our reliance on natural gas. Most coffee companies send their coffee bean waste to landfills.

We plan to implement additional recycling programs in the near future.
